  Retention Year: 1994 Recommendation: Retain Judge Fullerton received his law degree from the University of Denver Law School in 1954 and has been a Denver District Court Judge since November 1973. Before that, Judge Fullerton serves as a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge from 1965 to 1973. He has served in the civil, criminal and domestic relations courtrooms for over 20 years. Recently, when Judge Fullerton was the presiding judge in the domestic relations division, he adopted the practice of having divorcing parents go to counseling classes focused on the effects of divorce on children, a practice hat has help minimize the stresses placed on children in divorce.
